Margam International Kite Festival
Friday 26th - 29th May 2017
For 2017 the Festival will incorporate the Bank Holiday Monday
(For visitors a special event entry fee will apply for the Bank Holiday Monday).
(also includes the Margam Model Boat Club show on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday on the New Pond).
For kite fliers:
Join the Park for a kite flyers festival!
Set on the lawns of the magnificent Margam Castle within the grounds of Margam Country Park,
the home of festival kite flying.
Limited free camping is available for kite flyers, access to camping area on the castle lawns from 10am Friday
(all campers must be off site by 10am prompt on Tuesday 30th May)
Fri night meal, Sat or Sun night BBQ (bring your own food!)
Kite Workshops (details to be confirmed)
Further activities to be confirmed.
On Monday Bank Holiday the Kite Festival is part of a larger 'Family Fun Day' .
For Visitors:
Normal car parking fee applies on ,an additional special event fee will apply if you are visiting for the Bank Holiday Monday 29th May 2017.
Why not make you own kite in advance to bring!
