By joining the 'Friends' You will be:

  • helping us to raise much-needed funds
  • building the knowledge of the heritage and history of important building and landmarks
  • supporting the maintenance and restoration of Margam Park for everyone to enjoy
  • promoting the aims and objectives of the Park
  • helping us protect the history, wildlife, flora and fauna at the Park
  • be a part of one of the most dynamic volunteer groups in South Wales

  • Be invited to events, talks and trips to other gardens, historic estates and places of interest

Joining us is easy!

Membership starts from as little as £8 for an individual and £10 for a family per year.

Volunteering with the Friends​

Volunteering is a great way to get outdoors in the fresh air, enjoy the company of others and to acquire new skills, while making a valued and rewarding contribution to Margam Park and it's visitors.

​We have an amazing team of volunteers from all backgrounds who work tirelessly to protect and revive Margam Country Park for everyone to enjoy. We, as volunteers, breathe life into the place and we come together because we care about Margam's history, wildlife and people. Volunteers are at the heart of everything we do and we wouldn’t be able to survive without them.
