The Friends are pleased to welcome back the Kaya Festival to the park again this year, which promises to be bigger than ever!
Our experienced volunteers will be holding historical Celtic walks to sites in and around the park, such as the intriguing Iron Age hill fort once occupied by the Silures, an impressive Iron Age tribe. This particular walk boasts moving views of the entire Swansea Bay and dramatic scenes of the Tudor, Gothic castle below, among a beautiful variety of flora and fauna. So if you are looking for a heart-stopping,hair-raising, spine-tingling , historical walk to complement your stay with us at Margam, then call into the friends room located within the castle courtyard where we will be available to help. Note: Walks will run throughout the Kaya weekend. There are no set times for walks but these will run regularly through the day. Please wear sensible clothing and footwear. Suitable for all ages. Walks will last approximately one hour. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us directly at Margam, via our website or Facebook page. Let the journey being! www.friendsofmargampark.co.uk/guided-walks www.facebook.com/groups/friendsofmargampark
